Pigeon
Pigeon Magazine is a collaborative publication where each designer creates their own issue, giving every edition a unique style and creative direction. It focuses on the creative industries in the Black Country, showcasing local creatives, opportunities, and projects in the area. For this project, I worked as the art director for my own issue of Pigeon Magazine alongside a senior and junior designer. Together, we created an 11-page magazine, and I was responsible for the style guide, contents page, interview spread, and the front and back covers. As I led the interview section, I also had to find and interview someone (Matthew Hillary) from the creative industry while managing the overall direction of the issue, balancing both organisation and design throughout. The magazine was then published and distributed around various locations in Wolverhampton.
